How to request deletion

1. Email [email protected].
2. Use the subject "Power Shape Account Deletion Request".
3. Identify the account you want deleted using the email address associated with the account.
4. Do not send your password. Power Shape will never ask you to email your password.
5. If additional verification is needed, we will reply with the minimum information reasonably necessary to confirm that the request is authorized.

You do not need to be signed in to the Power Shape app to start this process.

How we verify the request

To protect accounts from unauthorized deletion, POWER SHAPE INC must reasonably verify that the requester is the account owner or is otherwise authorized to make the request. Verification will normally begin with the email address associated with the Power Shape account and may include confirmation of limited account information already known to us.

We will not ask you to send your Power Shape password by email. If we cannot reasonably verify the request, we may ask for additional information or explain why we cannot complete the deletion until verification is satisfied.

What is deleted

After a verified account-deletion request is completed, Power Shape will delete the user's Power Shape account and associated personal data that we are not required or permitted to retain. Depending on the features used, this can include:

• account and profile information associated with the app account;
• authentication/session records that are no longer needed;
• workout plans and user-linked training history, including exercises, sets, repetitions, loads, completion history, progress, and related records;
• user-linked physical assessment and body-measurement information stored in the platform;
• user-linked nutrition plans, food and macro information, preferences, substitutions, and related nutrition data;
• other app data associated with the account that is not subject to a legitimate retention requirement.

Some app information stored only on your device may also remain until you sign out, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Deleting the server-side account does not control copies that exist solely in device backups managed by the device owner or platform provider.

Information that may be retained

A limited amount of information may be preserved after account deletion when reasonably necessary for a legitimate purpose, including legal or regulatory compliance, tax or accounting obligations, security, fraud or abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or establishing or defending legal claims.

Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for that purpose, will not be used to continue the deleted account as an active Power Shape account, and will remain subject to applicable privacy and security obligations.

Timing and process

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests promptly. After identity verification, Power Shape generally expects to complete account deletion within 30 days. Some requests may require additional time if a legal obligation, security investigation, complex data dependency, or other legitimate circumstance requires it. If that occurs, we will communicate the status when reasonably possible.

Where information has been processed by a service provider on Power Shape's behalf, we will take reasonable steps to have that provider delete the applicable account data when required and technically applicable.
