Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to personal information handled through the Power Shape app and services operated by POWER SHAPE INC. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Data we may collect

Account and profile information

We may collect information you provide when your account is created or maintained, such as your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, membership or client identifiers, preferred language, and other profile information you choose or are asked to provide for your Power Shape membership or app experience.

Authentication and account-operation data

The app uses account credentials to authenticate you. The current app sends your email address and password to Power Shape's authentication service and, after successful login, receives a session token and user account data. The app may store the session token and basic account information on your device to keep you signed in and provide protected features. We do not describe your password as being stored by the mobile app after login.

Training and progress data

Depending on the features you use, we may process workout plans, exercise selections, sets, repetitions, loads, workout completion data, dates and times, cardio activity entered into the platform, performance history, records, progression information, training notes, and related data used to deliver and adapt your training experience.

Physical assessments and body measurements

When physical-assessment features are used, we may process information such as body weight, body measurements, body-composition values, assessment results, progress measurements, and other fitness-related information recorded by you or Power Shape staff for coaching and progress tracking.

Nutrition and diet information

When nutrition features are used, we may process meal plans, foods, quantities, calories, macronutrient targets, nutrition preferences, substitutions, and free-text instructions you submit in connection with nutrition features.

Device, app, and diagnostic information

The app and our servers may process limited technical information necessary to operate and troubleshoot the service, such as app version, operating environment, request metadata, IP address, timestamps, error information, and server logs. The current mobile dependency audit did not identify an advertising SDK or a dedicated third-party mobile analytics SDK. Device-side preferences, local-notification settings, and similar app state may also be stored locally on your device.

Information you send to support

If you contact Power Shape, we may keep the information you provide, including your contact details, message content, screenshots or files you choose to send, and information needed to investigate and resolve your request.

3. How we use information

We use information only for legitimate business and service purposes, including to:

• create, authenticate, secure, and maintain user accounts;
• deliver personalized training plans, workouts, progress history, assessments, and nutrition features;
• preserve workout history so future training can reflect prior performance and progression;
• allow Power Shape staff to support members during training and make appropriate program adjustments;
• operate app features, preferences, language settings, and local notifications;
• respond to support requests and communicate about account or service matters;
• maintain platform security, prevent misuse, investigate errors, and diagnose technical problems;
• comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or enforcement obligations; and
• improve the reliability and functionality of Power Shape services using information available to us.

4. How information may be shared

POWER SHAPE INC does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with data brokers for sale and we do not use the Power Shape app as an advertising-data product.

We may disclose information to service providers that are necessary to host, secure, operate, maintain, or support the Power Shape platform, subject to appropriate contractual or operational protections. We may also disclose data when required by law, legal process, a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Power Shape, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or harm.

If we add a material third-party SDK or service that changes how personal data is collected or shared, we will update this policy and the applicable app-store disclosures as required.

5. Storage and security

Power Shape uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal data. The mobile app communicates with Power Shape services over HTTPS, and access to member data is limited to systems and personnel that need it for authorized business or service purposes. Certain session and preference information may be stored locally on the user's device by the app.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Power Shape service, maintain account and training history, meet legitimate business needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. When an account is deleted, associated user data is deleted or de-identified unless a limited portion must be retained for a legitimate reason such as legal compliance, accounting, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Any retained information remains subject to this policy and is not kept for unrelated use.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data Power Shape maintains about you. You may also ask questions about how your data is used or shared.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Power Shape account when possible. We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your Power Shape account and associated personal data without needing to be inside the app. Visit Account Deletion for the current process, or email [email protected] with the subject "Power Shape Account Deletion Request".

Account deletion is different from temporary suspension or deactivation. When a verified deletion request is completed, Power Shape will delete the account and associated personal data that we are not legally or legitimately required to retain.

9. Children's privacy

The Power Shape app is intended for Power Shape members and authorized users. If an account is used by a minor, Power Shape may require involvement or authorization from a parent or legal guardian as appropriate. If you believe personal information about a child has been provided without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the matter.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app, our services, legal requirements, or data practices. The revised policy will be published at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other appropriate channels when required.
